Simon Pearce

Simon Pearce / Managing Director

Simon’s extensive career has always been in Construction Recruitment and he is renowned for his passion, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment. In 2009 Simon established Simon Nicholas Associates from his loft and has been driving the success of the company forward ever since, now working in an office!

Specialising in Freelance Commercial Construction, Simon can talk for England and really gets to know you, building lasting working relationships with his clients and candidates.

In his younger years Simon got a recall from his audition for the hit show Baywatch, after severely burning the top of his head on the first take, they offered the part to the Hoff. He’s never really got over it!

Victoria Pearce / Financial & Operations Director

Vicky has in excess of twenty five years within the recruitment world, specialising in commercial construction. With her knowledge and fantastic organisational abilities, she was the driving force behind the setup of Simon Nicholas Associates and took on the role of Finance, Credit Control, Office Manager, HR and most importantly the Office Joker.

Vicky is a keen craft person and combined with her love of “Tweeking” she sews tiny boots for the birds. Her application to Dragons Den has been rejected but Pet World are in serious negotiations.

Thomas Randell

Thomas Randell / Senior Construction Consultant

Tom commenced his career with Simon Nicholas Associates as a Recruitment Apprentice. His enthusiasm and ambition to learn astounded us and now manages the Trade & Labour division and supports the Freelance Management division, managing the whole recruitment process. He often wears a cardigan and very stripy socks.

Tom did try his hand in kilt making, working with a blind man who felt colour in the Outer Hebrides. Being colour blind he was unable to get any sensation in his fingers and so turned his hand to catching Haggis instead.

Claire Bailey

Claire Bailey / Finance & Support Administrator

Claire is the backbone of our business and brings a wealth of experience in secretarial, administration, sales and accounts to the business. She’s a gem!

She’s your lady to chat to about anything pay or money related to, assisting in the day to day running of all the financial aspects of the business including Accounts, Payroll and Credit Control.

Claire’s often appropriately titled “The Bionic Woman”  (due to metal rods in her back) The only difference to that of the 1970’s TV series is instead of taking on special high-risk government missions, Claire uses her bionic powers to turn glasses of water into glasses of Dom Perignon. We’re not ruling out that she may start to take on special high risk missions for Simon Nicholas Associates. Watch this space.

Claire Watt Marketing & Communications Manager

Claire Watt / Marketing & Communications

With a commercial recruitment background and construction experience, Claire is the secret Elf who puts together the marketing strategies and plans all the communication for the company. She spends a lot of her time on social media sites and harps on and on about “The Simon Nicholas Associates Brand!”

Claire is an open water sea champion, with an untaught ability to smell ice cream, even from miles out at sea. Her gift and sense of smell has added miles of zig -zagging from coast to coast sniffing out the good stuff on each and every swim. Ironically she doesn’t even like ice cream.
